We are a fully equipped clinic with surgical suites, in-house lab, digital x-ray, digital dental x-rays, cryotherapy, endoscopy, shockwave, cold laser, and ultrasound.

Veterinarian Responsibilities: As a Premier Paws Veterinarian, you will ensure high-quality patient care, while fostering a positive and collaborative environment. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of Premier Paws Veterinary Services while enjoying the support of a dedicated and enthusiastic team.
We operate our Lockport small animal clinic, and a small animal clinic in Joliet, as well as a full service Equine practice that is located next to our small animal clinic in Lockport.
We understand how important work/life balance is for our team, and strive to create a workplace that is flexible, yet efficient, and makes veterinary care accessible to our clients. Our clinic hours reflect our commitment to this policy, with no late nights and one Saturday a month.
We have both full-time and part-time positions available.
We are all about long three-day weekends.

We are seeking a full-time veterinarian at our Animal Hospital in Lockport, IL as well as our Joliet, IL location. The ideal candidate must be a proactive individual, solution focused, and have excellent clinical and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong commitment to patient care. This position requires a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree (DVM) and experience working in a veterinary hospital. Candidates with 1+ years of work experience are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance, and oversight for the hospital’s clinical operations and ensure patient quality care.
- Provide advice ,mentorship and support to other Veterinarians and Veterinary Technicians.
- Conduct medical rounds and provide medical oversight to ensure quality care.
- Interpret laboratory results, diagnose medical conditions, and develop treatment plans.
- Provide medical expertise and advice on complex medical cases.
- Manage medical records and ensure that they are up to date and accurate.
- Perform medical procedures and surgeries as needed.
- Participate in hospital meetings, conferences, and staff training sessions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.
- Experience working in a veterinary hospital.
- Excellent clinical and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to providing quality patient care.
